Best active, non-rp, raid focused server?

Apparently we get free world transfer(s) so I'm looking at moving. Started a new character on Goblin after having quit since 2014. My old characters are on Gilgamesh. I remember Gilgamesh having a very active raid scene with competitive raiding FC's. Since I'm still leveling through the story quests I haven't gone out of my way to look for raiding FC's on Goblin, but I haven't seen recruitment for one in either shout chat or party finder. I've been peeking peoples FC's and have yet to find one with only the "raid focus" tags. Every FC here appears to be RP in nature or simply social clubs.

Is Gilgamesh still known for raiding, and which servers would be best for me?


ALSO I'm having issues logging into the official FFXIV lodestone forums https://i.imgur.com/KsrZfpO.png, if anyone has a solution. I've tried clearing cache. I want an active alternative to the FFXIV subreddit because their mods are nazis. Every post I make is removed and every subsequent comment downvoted by the mod that removed it. Unprofessional, obnoxious.

Yeah the subreddit is a meme. Psure lodestone and the game itself are both down for NA temporarily. Siren I think has a decent raiding community. I'm on Faerie and havnt really seen too much and i'm normally pugging with people from other places.

Gilgamesh or Sargatanas imo. They're both on the same data center so it doesn't really matter which since we're getting World Visit right now.

Does world visit mean we can transfer between worlds on the same datacenter**? I assumed it was solely for the purposes of ease of matchmaking via duty finder and stuff like that.

No you'll be able to visit other servers on your datacenter through the aetherite I believe is how it works. You'll be able to buy stuff on the MB and participate in hunts and the like as well as the MSQ. There are some limitations if I remember correctly, but I don't remember exactly what they are except you can't buy a house that way.
