In a game where old content is always reused and relevent, why rush ahead?
Example, Relic quests were 4+ years ago and I still get dungeons in roulette that people use for doing their relic quests, same with Anima as well.
There are still groups about doing Savage Coils from a million years ago and stuff.
The need to rush to the top will take all the fun away, especially when shadow bringers launches and people will be talking about things you wont understand, hell, just jumping into SB without knowing the story previously really hinders the impact of the game.
You don't even know who the grave belongs too in Cortheas Central Highlands.
TL:DR, you can look up videos but their all cut up so you'll be watching hours of videos. All the while not being able to convey the emotion the game brings in it's story.
