Do your dailies and don't forget to have FC boost and food up at all times when doing dungeons. And if you have shadowbringers especially don't forget the earring.

Do palace of the Dead till level 60 and from 60 to 70 do heaven on High, you'll be level 70 in a day or 2.

I been told you can do main quest line and reach 50 that way.(with your first job/class)

Well if you’re new, do msq for your first job. Potd and other alternative leveling methods are for your second job and beyond.

Do dungeons. It's the best exp. If you can do command missions even better. Despite the DPS queue I still find doing the highest level dungeon you can do to be the best exp. Potd is rather crappy despite what people say. It's decent exp but also boring.

1. Queue for the 5 highest dungeons you can.
2. Path of the Dead.

Those are the best options available to you.

Do dungeons, FATEs, and your daily levelling roulette

thats what I did, hardly did a dungeon only the ones required for quests. Currently level 51 and doing the first level 50 story quests.

Story missions, FATE's and daily roulette's should do the trick ^^

If its your first class just do the MSQ and enjoy the ride. No need to go crazy in PoTD quite yet!

POTD or Dungeons with Max XP buff and a group to que in with. Usually I would say the Dungeon process is faster but that's when you actually have a group geared.

I only have base game so i should be done at 50 :D
Also, this is the reason i wouldnt do any more jobs than 1 for each character, they made it this way to force players to do dungeons with any other jobs they pick on the same character.
Kinda makes me sick just by thinking of it.
The day they change it and so it becomes more"easy" to level up your other jobs and not getting forced into dungeons, is the day i support them more and buy all their DLC.

Why would you be opposed to running dungeons?

Because of the reward.
Every player should be getting a reward and they dont. I dont like RNG and i never will.
Why would i support the idea of to force players to sit and wait up to one hour or even more to enter a dungeon and then dont give them any rewards?
I seen it so many times, one player gets all loot and the rest gets 0%. It makes me sick, that people who design these games dont have more respect for other peoples time, maybe they think everyone have unlimited time to spend in their life...

Dungeons give rewards, while levelling, in the form of XP and a little Gil though. Starting in Heavensward all levelling dungeons also give you 1 non-weapon piece of loot for your class at the end of the dungeon.

End game dungeons give you tomestones as their major reward, as the tomestone gear is better than the drops.

It's not really Accurate to say you don't get anything from the dungeons, Because you do get something.
