Does it really worth crafting high end items?

There is something really interesting about FFXIV market. Prices are not dependent on demand, difficult or materials (It is like players made a bubble). It takes some time to acquire high end master recipes and if you choose to buy their materials in MB, you'll spend a lot. I'll compare meals and Weapons/tools here (ALL HQ)

Meals: Mid end meals (60-70 recipe) have quite cheap materials and with a high end gear you can turn NQ materials in HQ food. Master Recipe Meals (70* - 70****) have expensive materials in MB even if you trade part from Yellow Scrip (If you consider that you have to do food with High Collect to acquire Y.S. still, it will be quite expensive), High End gear is required and it might require food and delineation buff.

Ok lets compare now
-Prices: In my Datacenter, surprisingly the prices are the same, or almost the same with differences of 1k up or down. Thus, profit margin are way better for mid end meals.
-Liquidity: High end meal have way more liquidity. You can easily sell everything in 1 or 2 days. Mid end meal takes 3 to 7 seven days to sell everything but there are demand for these meals (remember that "what people do" with your product it is not a market variable)

Second case
Weapons and tools: Mid End tools (60*** -70 recipes), if we are talking about 65-70 recipes, they have cheap materials, easily acquired by mid end miners. Not all items but some of them you can sell for 75k-100k (HQ) spending 15k in materials. Similarly, you can reduce costs with a high end gear by buying NQ materials. 60*** on the other hand are quite expensive but mid end miners can get some of the materials making them a little bit cheap. A high mythrite hatchet was sold recently for 300k (Not all 60*** but some of them range between 200-300k). If you're a mid end miner you can reduce cost of production to 80k. High End items (70****): Material costs are extremely expensive since it also depends on High End Alchemy. You can reduce the cost of production by gathering nightsteel ore but you'll need a tome that requires you to grind until you have 5.000 red gather scrips. Still, you'll need high end items from other DoH that are utterly expensive. High end gear required, also food and delineation buffs.

Comparing
Prices: The margin profit between a 60*** and a 70**** taking in account the cost of production are not so different. However, while all 70**** items sell for a good price, not all 60*** items are expensive enough to be comparable to a 70. Still, some are. Mid end items have lower profit margin but you can still make good money out of it
Liquidity: Same for the food but 60*** may take 1 or 2 weeks to sell while 70**** takes few days to weeks. There is a high demand for Molybdenum tools since they are the first 70 req item that players will be in contact and not all them have enough gil to spend directly in nightsteel items after reach lvl 70. They can sell quite easy in days.
PS: Only Molybdenum tools are a viable option for crafting and profit. Weapons are extremely cheap

Therefore, it is possible to conclude that mid end items (at the present moment) are profitable as high end and can be even better if you consider other variables (Req of High end gear, time spent in grinding tomes, buffs, etc)

Depends what you're making, cosmetics like the Ao Dai it doesnt matter cuz it's gonna just be glam but things like Onishi pretty much require HQ as they offer better stats than NQ

I'm not talking about High quality... I'm talking about HighEnd (70****)

not really. overall, you're better off crafting/gathering for the sake of selling what you make and gather. you'll make more, but you'll spend more on what you do need. keep up with selling and buying what you need won't be an issue.
