Preordered , no 30% XP ring?

So the title explains my issue. I preordered Shadowbringers in light of using the ring to catch up before release but I see no ring or code or anything.

Am I missing something?

Did you Register the Pre-Order CD Key to your account on Mogstation?

Check your mail in game, I already got my minion and earrings a while ago.

Sometimes you have to re send the mail, its the top button on mog mail in game.

Thanks for the reply so quickly! When you say “resend” the mail what do you mean by that as they should’ve sent it to me.

Maybe that’s the step I missed, is there something I need to request from them!?

The keys I have both I’ve entered from steam say Invalid key , this is the key listed in my list of CD Keys for FFXIV? I have 2 shadowbringer keys.

Yes, steam keys, I'm sure you know where to find them?

I'll continue with the fore knowledge that you do.

There will be 2 ShadowBringer keys, one for early access and one for release.

For now you can only enter ONE.

GO TO MANAGE SERVICE OPTIONS.

Next

Look for the bracket that say's, "Regestration Codes" and click on, "Enter Item Code".

Enter the EARLY ACCESS PRE RELEASE KEY in that slot, 4 digits per box kind of thing, looks like this, xxxx - xxxx - xxxx - xxxx - xxxx

The item code is the ONLY code you can put in for now.

I been playing for ever now and been through both Expansions and can tell you it is working as intended. About 2 to 3 day's befor the early access, SE will let us know via LOADSTONE when we can put our SECOND key in.

So try it this way first, if it does not work, then something is wrong.

If you enter the other key, the release key and not Early access, pre release, then it will read as invalid key. I accidentally put the wrong key in at first too and got scared and then tried the other key and it worked for the minion and earrings.

But you cant do the other key till SE says so. Been that with HW and SB.

So I just got off the phone with SE Support ; they said that although I log in and Steam calculates my time played, the account I am logging in with is NOT a STEAM account, it is a SE account so that's why my STEAM Preorder key is not working.

Requesting a refund from STEAM and purchased the correct one from SE and it worked instantly.

Hope this helps anyone in the future, although you can access the game and account through STEAM it does not mean your main account is STEAM.

This is why you shouldn't buy the game again on Steam just to have it on Steam.

4 years, 3 expansions, countless notice/warnings and people still buy it from the incorrect store.


People just login into you're account on mogstation, that bit in he green section is you're account type. If it only says "FINAL FANTASY XIV 1" then don't buy anything from Steam.

4 Years, 3 Expansions , I played before them all, sooooo guess thats why I missed all those warnings because I quit 3.9999 years ago haha.
