Second. Those are optional items available only in mogstation and are not included with the base game or any expanion.
They also don't want new players buying them, hence the prohibitive price of $50 total.
If you just do the skips straight to endgame, then you sadly miss out on a bunch of content that would essentially make the experience significantly more boring.
Even worse would be the fact that they wouldn't know how to play their class and/or know the mechanics in a level 60+ dungeon/trial.
Now, there isn't any way to purchase either the story skip or the level skip through steam that I'm aware of. I haven't bought any of them yet, but there is a way to buy it from the SE site. Could someone answer the question if you bought the skip from the mog station, without clearing it through steam, would the skip still apply to your account?
I think that's primarily what the OP wants to know and we should be fair to at least answer his question before condemning him to hell for wanting to skip precious parts of the game. I personally recommend skipping the realm reborn if I had to skip anything at all. But I would specifically wait until it's relevant--that is when you get to level 50 and complete all of the original ARR campagin minus the 100 quest marathon, just to skip that part that's mostly fluff. I haven't gotten there quite yet, and I do plan to play all of it so I can give a better opinion about it afterwards, but enough people think it does minimal harm to the overall narrative that it's probably the best skip for its value.
Anyway, OP I hope someone can answer your question because it is something worth noting for the least enjoyable experience this game has to offer supposedly.
Right here.. So how do i take advantage of this?
Upon using this item, the designated job will be instantly leveled to 70.
Job Quests All job quests up to level 70 will be completed.
Job Actions All actions granted through job quests up to level 70 will be acquired automatically.
Soul Crystal The job's soul crystal will be equipped automatically upon logging back in.
Included In-game Items An item level 390 Scaevan weapon and set of Scaevan gear (excluding accessories) will be equipped automatically upon logging back in.
A coffer containing a set of accessories.
50 Allagan platinum pieces that can be sold to vendor shops for 500,000 gil.
If you want to purchase this item (keeping in mind all of the buyer beware shouts above you), at the very bottom of the screen, there are your options to choose which class you want to bring up to 70. Again, I have no idea how this works with steam, so again, purchase at your own risk.
At the very bottom, it should give you step-by-step instructions on how to activate it, so if it's something you want to try, just follow the directions and you should be good to go theoretically speaking.
