Don't know how to activate Shadowbringers

I just bought Shadowbringers coming from the Starter edition and my account is not updating in the mog station to show that I purchased it. I never received a key or anything like that to activate on Square's site if I need to do that. Can someone help me figure out if I did something wrong? lol. Thank you.

Did you purchase shadowbringers? If so you need to enter the shadowbringers CD key by right clicking it in your library, view CD key and enter the respective key into mogstation.

This is assuming you have the game on steam

Go to library, select FF14, on the right hand side there'll be a CD-Key option click it. Take your CD-key and login to Mogstation, go to the expansion tab, should still be the big red one, enter key, activate and enjoy.

This is assuming you've got a Standard (Steam) account and not Standard.

Did you buy both the Starter Edition AND Shadowbringers in the same place ?
i.e. STEAM or MoG station.
Unless Squeenix have changed something, you can't buy the STEAM starter pack and use it together with MoG Shadowbringers...and vice versa

Yeah you need to make sure that you bought both starter edition and shadowbringers from the same place (both steam or both squenix directly) copy the code on your library page for shadow bringers then log into mog station and there should be a button or tab to add expansion entre your code in there and boom

hello, I'm a new player with the Final Fantasy XIV. I had the free trial and upgraded it to the real version. So I was sent to Squarc Onix store and was informed to purchase FINAL FANTASY® XIV ONLINE COMPLETE EDITION [PC DOWNLOAD]. After this I applied the code and it upgraded my account. Now after this I wanted to own the expansions and found out that the Shadow bringers was the latest one. I followed the same procedure as last time and purchased, FINAL FANTASY XIV: SHADOWBRINGERS™ COLLECTOR'S EDITION [PC DOWNLOAD]. I tryed to enter this code onto my account in order to upgrade it, but it was telling me the code was invalid. I contacted the Squarc Onix store team and they informed me that the code was ready for use. Can anyone help me with this problem because now I have a game code not working?

Slightly better instructions:

1. Go to Library.
2. Select FFXIV
3. Right-click FFXIV and select Manage>CD Keys.
4. Copy your expansion CD Key to Clipboard.
5. Login to Mogstation using your favorite browser.
6. Select Account Services.
7. At the bottom of the screen paste your CD-key and complete the account registration process.
8. Launch Steam version as usual.

You need to buy the base game and all DLC using the same client. Installing the base game via Mogstation and then buying DLC via steam WILL NOT WORK.

I just got Final Fantasy XIV and i want to buy the expansion of shadowbringers but the dlc doesnt seem to be on steam, am i searching the wrong thing? or is it no longer availabe? Im worried to buy it on square enix since i got ffxiv off steam and idk if it'll be compatible or work. anyone have suggestions or tips???

Buy Endwalker!!! It includes Shadowbringers now. :) You only ever have to buy the most recent expansion for this game, it includes the old ones.

Buy Endwalker!!! It includes Shadowbringers now. :) You only ever have to buy the most recent expansion for this game, it includes the old ones.
