Square enix support is so trash
IM A NEW PLAYER, I JUST WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME BUT I CANT.

MY account is temporarily restricted, I CAN'T change my password because my birthday date is wrong (i probably put in a wrong digit), can't contact live CHAT because they ARE NOT avalIBLE!. nOW i have to wait for an email from them....

I'm already having a terrible experience with this game because the security for this game is so stupid, why can't it just be a simple code from our email?... IDK im pissed off because i just bought a game I CANT even PLAY!!! All my hours were spent on the STUPID LAUNCHER.

Took me 6 hours to get it to work lol. Could log into their website with my mail but not into my SE account. Finally found out You need to use your name lol. Took em two days to send me a mail advising to change my password haha worst support I have seen,

I mean if you email them then you're at the mercy of the massive queue of other tickets in front of you, just like Steam.

Ring/live chat for Account issues, don't use snail mail.
Good job, you can't even fill a form properly. The game seems to have an automatic IQ test, go play something else.
wow, i just started yesterday... took me 5 minutes to get into the game (after download that is :D)
but maybe that´s because i´m careful with what i put in these information boxes? who knows... ya know, i took 6 semesters in "online regristration", that´s why...

Bad support is what happens when you outsource call centers. They copy paste their script back at you brainlessly. You could try calling them instead? Also, try being nice. If you're typing in all caps or screaming they're going to be like "♥♥♥♥ this guy i'm going to bare minimum this call/ticket".

its more or less because their raging over an "temporarily restricted" account and waiting is too much for over an mistake they made which means SE has to respond to their email before the other thousand players. (and the way there wording it, it sounds like the "wait 30 mins because you goofed up your password too many times trying to log in" restricted)

people would be more forgiving if it was more polite and not the ravings of a tween blogger

what if you have used the same pw and security question for the last 10 years and square enix just kinda lost it becuase you left the game due to their horriable customer service over having to wait a week for a transaction of an animation to go through.

as a returning player of multiple times it has taken a stupid amount of time to be able to gain access to my account each and every time. ive ended up having 3 different accounts all asign to their specific emails as to when each account was activated.
1st account is on a super old 15 year+ email
2nd is on an outlook email and that was is like 5 years old.
3rd and final one, the main email and square enix is telling me that the account im trying to login under is asigned to a different email, but when i log into the other too they are not connected in any way to the other. they all have their own specific emails through different email providers.

to sum it up, Square Enix has employed so pretty stupid people that are either untrained or just unmotivated for their position to actually participate in the tickets sent in, regardless of how silly can be, mistakes happen and they are there to be badasses not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who cant even understand what the ticket purpose.
we pay money to play each month and when a player can log in and that sub is still going and oh you cant login to manage youe account cus you are permanently temporarily locked out of you're account that you are paying for and SE is like, thanks for the money kid, now go ♥♥♥♥ off and try to login with incorrect information, oh wait you cant because you are locked out of EVERYTHING.

Never been my experience.

Then again, I save or remember my account credentials.

Failing that, I call support and they get me sorted in a matter of minutes.

yeah , i am trying to find a solution for some account issues too via google and seeing how the ff14 community is , i really think i should just see the 32€ as a lesson (and besides , i refunded shadow of the tomb raider instead , so ha! SE )
guess eso it is , or just some f2p mmorpg

square enix really proved they cant handle anything with accounts , should just stick with making single player games, online stuff just isnt for them
