is relic weapons worth going for atm?

how high ilvl can it be upgraded to ? and does it take a long time to upgrade to each stage? if i only start from 80 ilvl and wanna get to 440?

Relic weapons are more about the glamours, they are a time sink and require lots of materials which can take a few hundred thousand seals and ten thousands of tomes depending on how you go at it. I don't recall any relic weapon going anywhere next to ilvl 440. I've been working on getting my relic to Lux since the last month.

Some stages are quick and easy, others can takes days and weeks.

Relic weapons go as far as HW and after that is Eureka I think, Shb hasn't introduced anything like those yet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're talking about the ARR relics those can be done solo very easily in a short period of time. If you're talking about HW relics those can be done solo very easily in about 2 weeks time casually. Eureka is dead now and has not received adjustments as of yet so you probably can't solo those yet. During the last Live Letter they talked about adding some things to make it more soloable, but probably won't happen until later.

Of course this is all just for glam so it depends on how important that that is to you.

ARR relic iLvl: 135
HW relic iLvl: 275
SB relic iLvl: 405

Each of those are different weapons, not the same. Also, there's still no proper Relic Weapon yet for Shadowbringers. The best weapons are currently the iLvl 475 from Eden's Gate (Savage).

The only reason to obtain the old ones is, as it was already said, for glamour only. Just keep in mind that you'll need to spend a large amount of resources, and/or time, for those (especially the ARR relic)

i stopped counting the tomestone i used for my ilv235 warrior weapon. And i'm far from finished but the weapon looks so good.

that is not how relic ever works. each relic is patch series specific and is dicountinued after a new patch series releases. we just got a new patch series with 5.x so there is no lvl 80 viable relic available at all currently.

the 5.x relic wont arrive till patch 5.25 when new "eureka" stuff (name tba) comes around. so around march 2020 if they keep thier normal schedule of patches.

all current relics are pointless ilvl wise. only go for them if you really want the design for glamor. statwise you can forget they even exist in generel if youre doing savage aswell as they are always behind in ilvl even when current. plus the rng substats ruined the 4.x relic completly as grinding for rng substats in this games gear system is never worth it due to super fast planned obsolence.
