Rotation isn't really all that important in this game - unless you really need to e-peen your way onto a meter to impress some elite top end lvl 80 farmers. You'll hardly ever have the opportunity to do that carefully planned rotation anyway, as you're a melee class and there is stuff to be dodging.
I just want to add - there are often questions about which class is best and how do I do the best, however they're all seemingly logical questions that actually don't have a relevant answer. FF14 is above all else, a game about knowledge. Know your class, know your parties classes enough, and know the fights. That is the real secret to being good. And when you know, you no longer need to ask these innocent questions. So, get in there, and play, learn, and know.
