Allagan tomestones of poetics?

Are they useless after you hit lvl 70 and higher, or?
What is the best way to spend them if you do no longer need lvl 270 gear?

You can buy 390 gear for level 70. After that I think they are pretty much useless at the moment.

You could start buying mats to craft a zodiac/anima weapon.

fyi. the 390 gear can be upgraded to 400 right there on Rhalgar's.
You can also spend tomestones on materia, old armor, or some old questing items.

I've been spending mine on necks/rings etc to level up my Goldsmithing desynthesis. You can also buy various materials and such and sell them on the market board. Buying Unidentified stuff and trading them in for Grade 3 soil can make a lot of money, or be useful for your own gardening. Things like that.

Never cap on poetics. NEVER. There is always something you can do with them, even if its just straight up making a profit.
