Step 2: open the glamour templates
Step 3: Assign glams(gearpieces) ((FROM YOUR ARMOIRE)) to the different gear parts
Step 4: apply
Note that you can't glam plate into robes and vice versa or armour into gathering/crafting clothes (unless the gear specifies it) nor can you glam class specific gearpieces to gear that's not usable to the class in question (so no MNK-only gear on a DRK-glamplate) or it will simply either refuse to apply the glam or not show them in the end-result.

Once their, you can customize a Plate to fill into what ever you need it and once you do, you can actually auto Link that Plate to any Armor Sets you wish to have glamoured, or you can Manually place it on. Be warned, only Main Cities, and certain small towns such as Idylshire or Rahgr's Reach will allow you to equip a Plate. So if you are out in the field getting new armor or switching to another class with a linked Plate, it will not change the glamour.
