Changed to Viera, can't use hats?

This is terrible, I'm a huge fan of dressing up my characters and was excited to finally be able to play a bunny so I paid for fantasia and name change almost instantly.

Also missing the hairstyles I unlocked when I was Hyur, I now only have a few options for hair when I had loads before, I was expecting the Viera to be ready at launch for hats and unlockable hair.

Now I'm in game and none of hats are working, they are just invisible, and I have very limited hair options on top of not being able to wear hats. its so not cool and its frustrating, feel like I wasted my money

Even tho some pieces are visible and SE team did make use of them on their own time since the idea wasnt in mind with Yoshi. Time will tell if more would be visible on the new races. For now the list is here what can be seen.

Everywhere that Viera and Hrothgar were discussed prior to the patch...

Remodeling the thousands of headgear in the game will be time consuming. They do plan to try to make more helmets and hats compatible but for now you're limited to glasses and some other smaller pieces of headgear.

Returning player. Haven't played since over a year ago. So there were no warnings for me, just used my Fantasia to go Viera only to learn that basically all the cool helms don't work.

So yeah, "you were warned" doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥ and is not a fix-all answer

Viera and Hrothgar shouldn't have even happened. All that wasted dev time for 2 half baked races. Could have just given more customization options to the already existing races.

They were very transparent from the beginning about headgear for Vierra and Hrothgar, and while they will be working to make more headgear work for the two races over time, no particular piece is really guaranteed. While unfortunate, it was never a secret.

Anything short of a huge "HEADGEARS DONT WORK ON VIERA AND HROTHGAR" splash-screen when you go to use a Fantasia is simply not doing enough. The races should never have been released if they were this un-designed.

YoshiP said for years that they weren't sure if they could add Viera because of their "strange feet". Yet lo and behold, they somehow fixed the feet, and created an even bigger issue via headgears.

They didn't even fix the feet issue, they just have human feet, instead of the high arched rabbit feet they should have.

This is 100% the user's fault for not doing basic research.
