Second is about races. In ARR and HW the lore is stated that the races of the source were all invented by the alligans so this makes no sense as to why the races of the source appear on different worlds as allag was founded after the sundering.
The "Void" was acidentally created by the Ascians trying to ride the aether current, therefore, the 13th is the Void. The 13th used to be fine till the Ascians decided to experiment.
The Allag were created to build, be slaves, to the Ascians, hence why Allagans know time compression and other world minipulating stuff.
The Allag, at the time, were the reason the Ascians created the void.
Also, I believe Emet is lying. If he created "us", then how does he NOT know who the Exarch is? Or what he is.
The races from the "Source" mirror all races, for what planets/shards are left that is.
i.e. when Emet split Minfillia in his demonstration. Ever soul is shared, if I split, I get a half, the other gets the other half.
It's believed that Hydaelyn created us as a "god" cannot live without it's "followers".
Hence the Ascians with Zodiark. According to Emet only 3 Ascians left for Zodiark and billions for Hydaelyn
We just know that "Some" calamity was going to befall the source, in their haste, the Ascians bid the"star" a soul if you will, Zodiark. We'll call this one "Team A"
Some found this not good and so to counter Zodiark, as he would get too strong left alone, the other Ascians, we'll call them "Team B" prayed(?) a god into existance to be the catalyst that can stop Zodiark.
In the fight, Hydaelyn fought and won against Zodiark, shattering the "source" in the process.
Only 3 Ascians survived. According to Emet.
The "source" was split into 14 shards. I forget how many but a bit, 6 or 7 I think, have already rejoined with the "source".
Upon splitting, the aether was swept across all shards, both light and dark, creating us (light) and monsters (dark), voidsent, etc.
A constant struggle of light and dark, good vs evil.

EDIT: Before i look dumb, let me say, im level 78 and just got to Vauthery flying his fat ass away lol. So, if theres more to lean, i'll fill in the gaps.
I wont spoil anything but these statements will be answered in the last bit of MSQ and post MSQ quests.
7 shards. I don't know where it's said that the Allagans created ALL races though. The Allagans themselves are Hyuran, and they even have a Miqo'te descendant in Gra'ha Tia. They created SOME of the races, like the Ixal, which you may notice, do NOT have a representative in the First so far.
However, Light and Dark creating things wouldn't really be accurate. As Ali points out, most creatures have an equilibrium of Aether. Sin Eaters come about from having overwhelming amounts of Light Aether. The Voidsent come from the overwhelming Dark Aether of the Void, just like the Sin Eaters come from the overwhelming Light Aether of the First. The Monsters are likely just natural creatures. Since if you remember what Urianger said, Dark is more of an active Aetheric force, whereas Light is a stagnant force, it doesn't really make sense for the races of the Source (and the others) to be created through Light due to it being a stagnant force, one unlikely to create.
i guess ill play till then end to see if they explain this

Well light and dark could be many things though, Hydaelyn and Zodiark, pretty much however you would word it.
Thats what i believe but im not finished yet so I know theres more info to to had.
There is nothing I can find saying the Auri were created by the Ancient Allagans, same goes for Lalafell. The Allagan node in Azys Lla will mention the players race when spoken too, despite being untouched for 5K years, indicating they were all present when Azys Lla was around and active.
The Elezen can date their histories back to the First Astral Era, which is before the Allagans, as can the Hyur. The Allagans, in comparison, ruled in the Third Astral Era. Miqo'te were apparently drove out of Aldenard by the Allagans according to the lore book, thus indicating they weren't really allagan creations either, and were again, around during the Allagan Empire.
The Lalafell you're probably talking about is likely due to the fish. This has no real source as to whether or not the fish were based on Lalafell, or the Lalafell are based on that fish, or it's the result of some freak accident with Allagans screwing with genetics, or if it's just a localization joke as the other localizations do not mention anything regarding Lalafell, instead using "humanoid".
The Auri and Roe have nothing to indicate they were created by the Allagans, instead only having information to indicate they were around at the same time.
No. They weren't. The Auri and Lalafell have NOTHING in the lore book or in game to indicate they were CREATED.
You do not need to CREATE a slave population. You get a slave population by enslaving an already existing population. It's much easier to do that. And if you're creating species, you may as well create a species that will follow your instructions better. Or you know, use the robots the Allagans created.
And the Crystal Tower would indicate the ACTUAL reason Allag fell. It fell because they SERIOUSLY screwed up with Dalamud when hooking it into the Crystal Tower. It produced too much energy, and it overloaded the tower and sent it into the ground. This resulted in the Allagan empire, dependent as it was on the energy of the Crystal Tower, to spiral into decline. Their technology no longer worked, as they no longer got the energy from the giant solar panel that is the Crystal Tower, and they had built their civilization around it by that point.
