I'm pretty sure there should be a buff at the top of the screen with all the others, but not entirely sure.
The buff lasts as long as SE believes that server to be underpopulated, but meanwhile you will always have it.
yeah i havent noticed any icon to show if i have it but as for the code i already did the preoder done so ill just have to redeem the main code whenever it finishes
You'll know if you have the road to 60 buff because it's an orange star buff icon on the top of your screen, and it will tell you every time you log in if you have it.
The only limitation is that it doesn't work for level 70 and above. If you get a class above 70, you can switch to a lower level class, and you'll get the buff back. So you can train all of your classes with the experience buff.
The buff lasts until SE decides that the world is no longer preferred. Once your home world gets taken off the preferred world list, the buff will last for 30 days, and then it's gone forever until the server becomes preferred again (rarely happens, but does happen sometimes).
If you transfer from a congested world (Gilgamesh, Balmung, etc.) into a preferred world, you will get the experience buff. I'm not sure if it works with transferring from standard to preferred, but I wouldn't chance it unless you know for certain.
Also, if you world visit, you will still keep the buff as long as your home world is preferred. So if you have friends on Balmung, you can create a character on Goblin, then just world visit to Balmung, and you still get to level twice as fast as everybody else.
so how does one go about finding which servers and worlds are hosting the bonus?
The buff grants 2x exp and has a buff icon on you're screen.
It has a 90 day time limit for NEW characters created on said bonus world only
EXP Buff for preffered servers is x2, not a lousy 10% like you said. Advantages and disadvantages for the buff are already listed in above posts.
There is a 90 day time limit when the world changes from preferred to standard. If it's still preferred, there is no time limit, and it's 90 days, not 30 days like I previously stated.
