How toxic is the community?

To be honest, I am so done joining online games that is filled with so much toxic people. I used to play Overwatch, but left due to how much people get really toxic and ruin the game experience for others. I am currently playing Dead by Daylight. That game is becoming even more toxic and I am just losing interest in this game. I heard about this game becoming more popular, due to how the game has a lot of things. I want to join this community if the people are not as toxic as other games.

Havent had any toxicity since I moved From Excalibur to (Zalera) in the Crystal data centre. Based on the amount of Epic of Alex clears and 5.0 story mode clears that have been data mined Crystal is the most casual data center. I think if people want the most noob friendly data centre its the best. Stay away from Primal and Aether they have the most hardcore servers you'll sometimes get paired with (Gilgamesh and Behemoth).

Crystal had something like 13 TEA clears to Aether and Primals 170+ in DEC so that puts into perspective the amount of hardcore's on those other data centres.

Yeah Crystal is a meme with how bad it is. But if people are okay with that, I think rolling Crystal will make everyone happy.

Final Fantasy 14 is probably the best by a long shot. The game managers take toxic behavior seriously and ban people for being toxic. In other MMORPGs, people are writing neo-nazi type stuff in General Chat and nothing happens to them, they don't get banned or warned or anything. So yea, FF14 probably has the best community.

Oh there is, but there's a much bigger toxic casual problem in ffxiv than any real toxic elitism. I used quotes there because often times asking a healer to DPS is labeled being elitest.

I am still quite new to the game so I like to know what to look out for and not get into that kind of behavior myself.

Toxic elitist is, as you'd think, someone who thinks they can treat you like garbage if you're not as good as them at a video game.

Toxic casuals is a term made up by toxic elitists as a way of taking heat off of them.

so final fantasy 14 has the LEAST toxic of any game community, at least on the EU servers where i play. Everyone is helpful, no one is rude. Square Enix takes toxic players seriously and bans or punishes them.

There's tons of white knights defending poor play, from not listening to advice/boss mechanics, Ice Mages, DPS that do less than the healer, Tanks that never usee cooldowns ever, Freestyle DPS "rotations"and others.

If you call them out on any of these, chances are they're a premade and they'll kick you for being a "toxic elitest" or nobody cares and they defend it.

Imagine depending a dps doing sub-3k at level 80.

You're talking about an infinitesimal portion of the playerbase and making them out to be an actual problem.

Yeah Crystal is a meme with how bad it is. But if people are okay with that, I think rolling Crystal will make everyone happy.

people not being hardcore doesnt equal to not being toxic, or not having other drama/baggage issues they bring into the game, transferred OUT of crystal (Diabolos) into primal for similar reasons
