Can you report spoilers?
I'm still in Stormblood and got into the Deltascape raid, told them it was my first time doing this particular duty. Someone thought it upon himself to spoil the last few bosses of this raid wing so I muted him and said it was rude. Another new player called him out and said "Wow thanks d**k... are you going to tell us how Shadowbringers ends too?". I'm guessing the guy I already muted was in a pre-made party and had friends who decided to mention how Stormblood AND Shadowbringers end. I didn't realize anyone else would do something so petty and I couldn't mute him in time. Now the rest of the game is pretty much ruined for those of us still catching up.

I know nothing can be done to reverse what's been said, but if I report this guy for "harassment", will they actually look into it or just tell me tough luck and move on?

Why are you imposing this invisible "3 month" line that gives people the right to be jerks? Seriously. Give it up. The hill you've decided to die on is actually a valley. It's not too late to look around and see the upward slope of the land.

Again, at this point deltascape is years old content hell, you could SEE people with the minion from it when it first came out, spoiling people literally the day it came out.

A minion is a really bad way to spoil, as it gives no hint as to it's source. It could be from a trial, or it could have been an event item that was never added to the shop. Unless you look up the source (which is a bad idea for avoiding spoilers, because you'll almost certainly find other things as well), you won't really be spoiled by a minion.

Ehhh... I think it was fairly obvious where it was since the very day Deltascape came out we started seeing the wind-up *spoilers* it wasn't very hard to put two and two together.

Not to mention just from doing the first fight you saw it was the fanservice raid tier.

Nope. Just because you made that jump, doesn't mean everyone else would, nor does it make it classify as a spoiler. I pay very little attention to minions, and so seeing one I haven't seen before is VERY unsurprising.

Minions =/= spoilers. Minions aren't even applicable to this specific situation, so even if I gave you that minions do in fact, count as spoilers, it'd be 100% irrelevant to this discussion, because you can't see minions in any instanced content.

Another spoiler that was made by the game itself was a title for beating MSQ

Yes, their name's Final Witness. It was so bad they changed the title.

I added VanGogh after this discussion... I choose friends based off their nature and intentions, and he showed me he is deserving of it. My list might be small but the people on it I know I can trust.
