Help with redeeming FFXIV gametime and DLC codes.
Hello people.

Just a couple of days ago, i bought the stomblood included version of the game on steam.

The DLC downloaded as it normally would with every other game, but when i get ingame, neither gametime or DLC was activated.

I then took to the Mog Station, to redeem the codes that i had gotten from steam, and when i did that, it says that the codes are invalid.

So basically i have just been scammed for 40€ or what?

Any help on this subject would be appreciated, as im completely lost as of now.

Thanks
- Rossen

(It should also be said that this was all done on an already existing SE account, if that has any meaning).

Never mind, i just solved the problem by creating a whole new account though the steam launcher.

It does not really change the fact that all of my previous progress is now useless, and that i have to start over from scrach.

THANK YOU for telling me this beforehand Steam. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ greedy scamming bastards.

NEVER buy this game though steam.

Im just going to leave this up if others gave the same problem.

Note:
FINAL FANTASY XIV Online game packages available on Steam may only be registered and added on a Square Enix account that has the base game “FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Starter Edition" (or formerly known as "FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn”) purchased on Steam.

It isn't Square's fault that you didn't read.

Seriously getting tired of people claiming this is a scam and “solving” the issue the wrong way.

Refund the keys and purchase the expansion from a retail source.
