where do i input a referral code?

a friend of mine gave a referral code then went to bed. i have searched google and and cant find the answer i hope you guys can help

Go to your Mogstation -Acc. there is a button for that.

But honestly... The "I googled it" was a Lie, right? There is no way, you didnt find it in less than 3 Sec...

Edit: There is even a Sub-Forum for those codes here... Half of the Post in there(And google would find them too) have a Step by step guid for them ...

i have been there already. it says to

1. Register to play FINAL FANTASY XIV.

2. After receiving a message with an enclosed recruitment code, register said code via the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station.

but it doesnt say where on that horrible site to input the code

i see where i am going wrong. i started to register my game key before i read that i can only input my referral code before i register my. here is a screenshot of the page

how do i cancel the registration so i can go back and put my referral code in?

im not here to waste either of our time 'tolling' i genuinly appreciate your help

I'm sorry to tell you that, but the very moment you add a Game-Key, you go from Free trial Acc to Full-game-Acc... And you can NEVER go back.
There is no way to use your friends Code now. He should have told you that...

But you don't realy miss out here... The best rewards would go to your friend.

The Codes are a Way of the Developer to make Players convince others to start playing. I gave 5 of those to others allready and got a lot of Stuff from doing so.^^


Edit: And cover your Login data... Its only your Acc-Name. But if I would get ypur PW or Email, I could use that to get your Acc...

Actually, you can't use your referral code after you pay for your first sub (the free 30-day that comes with the game doesn't count), so you may still be able to use it.

The Recruit a Friend code? You can use it as long as you didn't pay for the first month of subscription. You can buy the game, register and play with the month they give you before registering the RAF code if I'm not mistaken.

You can always contact the Support if you have any issue. And I can probably hook you up with a code if you need. Gets you a nice emote too. :P

i emailed support and they was able to sort it out for me :) im level 11 now and loving the game :D

i have the free version registered now but i have no button for friend referral code like in the pic and i'm afraid to subscribe which would prevent me from inputting the friend referral completely. what do i do?
