Can i play Final Fanatasy XIV a realm reborn NA version from singapore

So steam only sells the NA version of final fantasy and on the final fantasy website it only sells japan,europe and north amercian version which is stupid.So my question is if im in singapore and i baught the NA version on steam would i be able to play it

Is a lie. If your steam account is on America it will be NA, if you are outside of America it will be PAL. Dunno about Japan...

As so, someone from Australia had gifted me FFXIV on steam, and I'm at portugal. Since the both of the countries uses PAL versions of FFXIV i could activate it on steam, if I were on America and using an american steam account it wouldnt work. Cuz it needed to be NA to NA (if im not wrong)

Yeah, it's three versions. NA, EU and JPN. Regardless of which version you get, you can play on any of the servers in the three datacenters [NA, EU and JPN] and also switch languages between english, french, german and japanese.

Country version has nothing to do with where / from where you can play*.

*except for the CN/KR versions.
