Fatal DirectX Error 11000002
So, i used to play this game outside of steam, now i decided to buy it here and after 10 minutes or so playing, the game will crash sending me that message. I've already turned the steam overlay off, reinstalled my drivers and whenever i check the game's integrity it gives me the message that 44 files failed and will be reaquired, making me download the whole game again.
My Specs:
Graphics Card: R9 380x 4gb
Processor: i5 4460 3.2ghz
RAM: 8GB

Never Verify the integrity of a game that uses a thirdparty launcher. It will always find files missing and redownload everything.

Install the latest drivers.
Force windows update check
Run CCleaner
Restart computer
Run CCleaner again to verify no more errors.

Did all that, nothing worked, i'm going back to 16.3.2 tomorrow, my guess is that this ReLive driver ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the game.

Yeah, the version on Steam is out of date. "Succesfully" verifying your files means you now got GBs of MORE stuff to patch.

"Fatal DirectX Error 11000002". That's a driver error message. If reverting to an earlier driver doesn't work, try running in DX9. At least long enough to know if there's anything the game is doing... if FF14 runs fine on DX9... it's your driver.

Try enabling Triple Buffering and also increasing the time-out [lots of videos on YT, search for "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered"].

Yea, i forgot to update this, changed to DX9 and it runs just fine, so ♥♥♥♥ DX11.

So, as it seems, the last AMD drivers have some kind of problem, every DX11 game tends to crash after a while, some sooner than others, i was able to play GTA V for about 2 hours today before it crashed.
