I'm an Intel/Nvidia user though, so can't give any personal experience on the matter.
So there should not be any problems with AMD or atleast not for me.
Fact of the matter is, you probably aren't going to buy intels fastest most expensive chip, so there is likely an AMD equivelant at a cheaper price point.
I'm using the fx6300 -- 3.5ghz * 6 with AMD Radeon R9 graphics.
I run this game at max
I've had nothing But AMD processors and Graphics cards and I've never had any issues what so ever
Most claims that things don't work on X brand is usually spawned from a person having a problem on their end or are just fan boys.
