is the gil cap for the free trial 20, 30, or 100k atm? seen multiple posts in different places at different times, and the official site just says theres a cap with no specific number that i can see

It's 300k. Not that it makes any difference since trial accounts can't use the market board.

when you get your subscription does it start immediately or after the trial is over?

The trial doesn't have a time limit anymore. You play until you feel like buying the full game.

As soon as you purchase and register the full game, all restrictions are lifted and your first 30 days of game time begin to count.

so you can literally get everything to 35, an get all quests up to 35 an then get the sub if you wanted to maximize the time?

but once you buy the sub, if it runs out you cant play again till you buy another month? would make more sense to just give a month free trial, from a business standpoint

Once you buy the game you have to pay the sub to keep playing once your first 30 days expire. You can't "downgrade" back to a trial account.

ok, on the sub, i do own the game, but i registered in on a diff mogstation acct than the one i did for the trial, will i not be able to just add a sub to the trial? if i wanna use that acct, do i have to rebuy the game for it?

Yes, you have to rebuy it if you wan't to continue on your trial account. If it's a Steam trial you have to buy the Steam version.
