Will this game use DirectX 12 in the future?
Every time I launch the game it has (Direct X 11) beside it, suggesting that it may have multiple options such as Direct X 12 to be added in the future...?

It was a DX9 game that got upgraded to DX11. If at some point they feel the upgrade is worth it again, you can be sure they will.

I'm sure they will eventually. If they are planning to keep the game around for a long time, then they will need to make updates.

FFXI never got any graphics updates. Even after dropping PS2 support. Don't hold your breath.

Actually a completely different team working on each game. It also did get a graphics update in Wings of the Goddess. The game was just so archaic by the time you mention there wasn't much for it.

Also an argument that doesn't make any sense because the game has literally already recieved an update graphics wise. Which we already discussed.
