I loathe the waking sands
Haven't been playing long, but I think the thing i hate the most so far is the mother-loving Waking sands. WHY IS OUR HIDEOUT SO FAR FROM THE TELEPORTER!!! AND WHY DOES IT HAVE TWO ISNTANCES IN IT! AHHHHHHHHHHH
*pulls out hair*

EDIT: YOU GUYS ARE GREAT !

Warp to Limsa > Arcanist's Guild > Ferry to Vesper Bay.

You're welcome.

Fun fact: The Waking Sands being such a hassle to get to actually becomes a plot point.

^ this. It is actually a plot point that the scions will mention later in the game.

I love you guys. I mainly hate the redundancy of double instances to get to one interior lol

The double instances thing, while annoying, dose serve a purpose. There are some quests you can get in there, that only appear after certain story events. (mostly harder versions of primals) and some of the NPC's move around. this was probably before they learned the trick of hiding things from players before certain quests were completed.

I get that, but it's still bullshït.

yeah i just got to the next one Rising Stone or whatever, it's still annoying to have double instances to get to the quest turn-in lol. Esp how they have you running back and forth

yep, very annoying. worse is they keep doing it, having a instanced zone to turn in quests. that said none are as annoying to get to as the Waking Sands. though the Rising Stones has a way to unlock extreme primal fights in Heavensward in the Solar which is annoying.

You have pinpointed my issue lol. Why does every solar have to be it's own instance when we are already in an instance lol? That's just poor planning lol

The game dose have issues, its not as bad as the orignial ff14. but still. then again most of those issues are due to having to basically remake the game from the ground up in like a year and a half.

Im enjoying it, i just think that a lot of the filler is super boring to the point where i don't even watch the cut scenes outside of the inn lol

once you hit level 50 i reccomend you find the "rise and fall of a gentleman" quest in ul'dah. its a funny questline that continues in heavensward and stormblood. oh and theres the "monster of bronze lake" quest in Camp Bronze lake. im not sure i got the quest name right for that, its got to do with a character called Godbert Manderville.

there is a lot less filler in the Heavensward storyline.

just hit the questline with "A Gift of Eternity" been so focused on main quest stuff, haven't went around much and hit the sides yet, because we haven't hit a wall
