with ff14 can you play ff14 mac vershion on a pc by chance.

ff14 uninstalled it self 3 times now this never happed before. and My account with ff14 is thuogh steam. But i noticed that i can add a mac license on my account via the mog station. so i like to ask can i buy a mac version of this game and play it on my pc, so i can link it to my account and keep my ingame characters. i am worried that i may not be able to fix this porblem even trying to back up my save files causes this. it says it failed and has to update. thn i find out i have to reinstall the whole game on steam. then the expansion packs on the luncher.

Yes you can play using the same account, on Mac OS. Buying it on Mac also net you 30 days subscription too, one time only.

Take note that if you do this, it doesn't add those days to your veteran reward table(unless they changed it in the past year). It's treated as a free 30 days.

If you've also made changes to your HUD, you'll want to try and back up those settings(I don't remember where they are) and transfer them over. That isn't saved via cloud data.
