That option was removed apparently.
That's acceptable. Thank you for the answer.
Didn't know that, sorry for misinformation.
I have 2 250Gb SSD's (for over 3 years now) and I have always kept at least ~+10Gb free on both.
Well I do this on my normal HDD's too.
Even if somebody only has ARR (now) then that player will still have the same instalation size as the other players.
Before SB was released you only downloaded ARR (if you didn't had HW on your account) there was this option for expansion auto update and it was default on off IIRC.
Yes yes, I know, but I'm on a budget potato pc for the vacation (Still manage to run this game in fullhd in mid settings at 40+ fps, this game is optimized by the hand of god lol), so I don't care about it at all.
@Burnnie I'm not yet in the danger zone, I've still 10-12 gigs free after this download. So, no worries :)
A 120 gigs ssd costs less than 50 euro nowadays mate lol
Expect some fps drops in the new Stormblood areas though. Especially Kugane.
No they won't, which is proven by the OP. The expansion data (new zones, dungeons, trials, ...) is only downloaded if you own it while the data all players need (like new items, mounts, ...) is downloaded by everybody.
