Not all mmos are sub based and I never said that I couldn't afford the price, if the games good i'll sub. I haven't played enough yet to know, it's just seeing how WoW turned to ♥♥♥♥ i'm kind of sceptical of subbing to another mmo.

tbh I wish they would add the feature like in wow, everyone would win off it, the game would get more players, SE would get more money.

Those without a job for whatever and plenty of time to play would save money irl and those with a job but not much time to play would be able to earn some quick gil.

Since FFXIV isn't a game where you can win by having a lot of gil it wouldn't affect the gameplay at all

If you have added Steam CD keys, just log in into mog station and under subscription there will also be an option to pay with Steam wallet.

For me it's €13,99 or €14,99 ... don't know exactly, it can vary slightly depending what country you live in and what currence you use, but it's around this price.

Sorry, but I'm glad it's sub-based. It means less microtransactions that aren't purely cosmetic. You add a way for people to NOT have to pay subs, and either content will lag or we'll see the cash shop pushed more.

WoW sell WoW tokens which lets you buy your monthly sub or add 17 to your account to purchase other games. I've got a bunch of free games and destiny 2 will be one of them :D

I can afford WoWs sub, I do like the idea of not having to pay for a sub which I haven't since I purchased legion, I also like the idea of purchasing other games with said tokens.

if you had read my post you would see the game would still be sub based, just that you'd have the option to sell subscription time for gil to other players
