Question about the Job Potion

Does it *only* complete the job quests and all dungeons linked to it? (EX: Scholar is linked to The Wanderer's Palace)
I'm considering possibly purchasing one this or next month, so I need to be doubly sure before I buy. Last thing I want is to buy the wrong thing (I have a steam buddy who had that happen to their friend, who mistakenly bought a story pack instead of a job potion) and not be able to get my money back.

you can read all this if you go to your mogstation and click on optional items, then look for Job Level boost tab , click and there you go.

Cause there are story packs too, I just want to make sure I don't get the wrong thing >_<'

Yes. You have to buy both if you plan on skipping to Stormblood right away.

I'd much rather not buy the story packs honestly, it feels too...cheaty....
Can I still be in ARR and use an AST potion if I have HW and SB installed?

To be honest, I really only want it for the gill (it's a legit way to 'buy' gold without dealing with those gold sellers that square doesn't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about) but having a secondary healing class already maxed out or close to it would be nice. Especially since I plan to get the healer class jobs maxed out anyway.

I assume I can watch all the relative cutscenes in the 'neverending journey' menu in an inn room still? Or no?

They are two different kind of potions. one about Job Class and one is about Main Story so yup if you want a quick level to 60 plus skip the Main stories for A Realm Reborn or both ARR and Heavensward you will have to purchase both.

Now Players can't actually think they would offer this as a quick inexpensive fix did ya?
