How To Upgrade To Collector's Edition?

I have the standard version of the base game and the 1st expansion from Steam. If I go to the Mog Station and buy the collector's edition upgrades for both how do I go about actually upgrading.

I only ask this because I've seen numerous threads about not being able to activate this game or something.

So, can I just buy the collector's edition on Mog Station and activate it on my account on SquareEnix and Steam won't be affected?

Also, how will I receive the collector's items? Mod delivery mail station in game?

you dont purchase the collectors EDITION. you purchase the additional items which will be mailed to you afaik. so this should work trough mogstation without much trouble but to be sure ask SE support on chat of this. as thats something they should know for sure.

What this person mean is upgrade to collector editon (which are just the items) but dont buy a whole collector edition that includes another copy of the game.

If you look in mogstation, there is a button for you to upgrade your game to collector edition

Click button - process payment... wait 2-3 mins and your character will see/hear a chime Collect over a dozen emails at the Moogle PostBox and collect your items.

PS The upgrade will give you the items for the ARR [base game] Collectors Edition. So in my particular case, I didn't get the griffin mount

Sorry. I didn't mean buy the whole thing. Yes, I meant to say buy the upgrade collector's edition.

When buying the upgrade and activating on squares web page steams version won't conflict and I'll have the collector's edtion when I log into the game?

(i know it's been a long time but since it was never answered) $19.99 for "a" collection or $79.99 to upgrade all versions to collectors (as of shadowbrings)

im wondering also, if I buy the complete edition - which just comes with the standard expansions - can I upgrade to the collectors? or do I buy the collectors shadowbringer (that has all expansions) and the base game separate?

Yes, if you buy the complete edition you can then purchase a digital collector's edition upgrade through the Mog Station. (Coincidentally the upgrades are on sale right now.)

The main concern regarding this would not be the collector's edition bonuses, but how important it is to you to be able to pay for your subscription using Steam Wallet. This is only an option if you used a Steam-purchased account key when registering your account or when upgrading from the trial version to a full version. (I do not know if using a non-Steam-generated demo impacts this.)

Additionally, expansion registration keys purchased through Steam may only be used on an account created using a Steam-generated key for the base game -- and the reverse is also true.
