Setting up your own shop

I heared it was possible in old FF IX. Can you do so here too?

In FFXI people uses Auction House, no? I don't remember player own shop.

There is a form of Bazaar here. What you can do is assign a certain amount of Retainers to stand outside a home. Anything they are selling on the AH can be bought off them directly.

There are even outdoor furniture items to set up a trade counter.

That sound like a pretty neat idea. ^-^

Although I can see why they decided to take the market board route. Like Seraphia said, with a little creativity, you could make your own shop in a way by using the outdoor furniture or even indoors. ^-^

I bet roleplayers do that a lot. =D

I used to have my small private house set up as a cafe for a a time. First floor had tables and seating arrangements, a counter and a small kitchen. With the basement as where I lived and stored the wine. <_<;
