There are even outdoor furniture items to set up a trade counter.
Although I can see why they decided to take the market board route. Like Seraphia said, with a little creativity, you could make your own shop in a way by using the outdoor furniture or even indoors. ^-^
I bet roleplayers do that a lot. =D
