I fought him, beat him, got a fancy new ring out of it. I still have no idea what you're whining about. What do you mean by "no reason to be delayed except sub money"? Like the only reason people were subscribing was because they may one day get to fight Proto Ultima? Because that's as false as it is stupid.
what i mean is they delayed it to force people to renew thier subs for another month because its a weekly thing. adding a weekly thing this close to a level cap raise is plain dumb gameplay wise so the sole reason is sub money.
relic quest is also proof that what yoshida says cannot be taken serious at all. he said about 6 months ago he would never force players into a trial for relic ever again. now look what we got today.
Do you seriously think every piece of gear is meant to be BIS?
So?
Yeah, I'd bet you'd like that, considering how much you're complaining about weekly lockouts.
Again, I don't think you fully appreciate just how stupid it is to say that. You're suggesting people only pay for subscriptions out of anticipation of this one fight? You know why I renewed my sub a couple of weeks ago? It's because there's still a lot of stuff I want to get done before Stormblood comes out. Not the least of which is helping along a friend of mine who just joined the game.
But hey, if you were subbing because of one trial, well, that's cool too I guess...
Or to speed up the gearing process. Much like how they doubled the Poetics cap before HW came out.
First off, post proof he said this.
Second, what is it too hard for you? It takes like an hour tops. Idyllshire is already full of people with the Lux weapons.
anyone who defends this crap is beyond help. sorry.
i am not blind mate :) so dont worry about me in that regard^^
Odin at least had a story but this just replaced a trash mob as a trash mini boss.
I fear for the reintroduction of Diadem 2.0 now.
When?
Prove that he actually said any of this.
See, now you're just exaggerating for the sake of n argument. Again.
I have to admit, it wasn't what I had in mind when I saw they were adding Proto Ultima. XD
I had kinda figured it would be like Odin again that he'd be a fate boss or something and you get loot that you can trade for better loot or just for glams. :P
But like you said, they never really stated it, they just said they were going to add it in the game, even so I have to admit that I was kind of disappointed. ^^;
Still, I won't let that stop me from loving the game. =3 Maybe they wanted to add a new trial challenge for next year's fanfest stuff, like adding a Proto Omega for the fan festival goers to challenge themselves against? Maybe?
I mean I'm pretty sure fan festival goers would get kinda bored beating just Proto Ultima every year. XD
So this was probably their way of giving Proto Ultima some purpose still (although I will admit they could of handled it better) but meh, it's really not that big of a deal for me. ^-^
Every MMO is bound to make some mistakes that will ruffle some feathers. I mean look at WOW, they've made a ton of mistakes (although that was by their own doing) and they're still going strong. XD
Ya just gotta go with the flow~ *makes wavy arms like ocean waves*
But yea, they never did mention it was gonna be a trial. They only mentioned they would put it into the game, and so they did. At this point in the game it doesn't even matter getting i270 acc because you can already do it, weekly. I see it more like a "give away of free goodies" instead of a failure on game design.
