You'll have to buy a retail copy. Try Green Man Gaming or the SE Store.

You need an EU account to play FFXIV. This come up first thing when you search FFXIV and Malaysia

You dont need an EU account. You just need a copy of the game that matches your account region.

Yes. It was confusing when buying from offgamer or g2a because it says EU region locked. But it actually means EU account region.

Already bought full upgrade and 60 days time code.

When or IF they release the game in Malaysia... it's more likely to be NA [to match Singapore].

North America, Europe & Japan are the 'rest of the world', China & South Korea have their own 'regions' while Hong Kong & Singapore are now included in NA.

*yeah, Australia is "EU" while Singapore is "NA"... ^_^

Off-paw, I'd strongly suggest using the NA region/etc. Besides anticipating that SEA will be put in the NA region [like how HK and SG are in the NA store], I have had zero hassles using my NA account... while my EU account has had problems [the recent promo event comes to mind]. Still, it might be cheaper to pay in Euroes instead of USD due to the collapse of the ringgit.
