why is it so hard to make an account?

I suggest slowing down and taking your time instead of what sounds like overcomplicating your own life.

im not overcomplicating, im registering an account, get email, confirm, but when i try to log in the game its wrong password...is there a special way you have to type the symbol/picture letters

yep, did all that, even tried to make one thorugh steam login, nope :D i must be doing something wrong since people are playing this game, i just dont get it, never had this issue on anything

To confirm, can you log into MogStation.

And can you see an active service account?

i can log in to the square enix eu site, and the account is active (does not say unconfirmed in the corner)

Okay, that runaround means you didn't actually read the guide I handed you. Because if you clicked "I already have a Square-Enix account" it would then instruct you to make a MogStation account. Square-Enix accounts are universal base accounts to hold liscences for FFXI, FFXIV, Triple Triad, and several other online games and single player ownerships. The fact that you can log into that means absolutely nothing here.

I made an account but the game still asks me to verify an account but the screen doesn't work. So what do I click on the game launcher to verify it?

I'm having the same issue. I created a Mogstation account, got the email confirmation code and completed confirmation. I then try to actually log into my account (either via Mogstation or the FFXIV launcher), and get the message saying it's an invalid ID/Password. I couldn't tell you how many times I've gone through resetting my password at this point and still can't get logged in. I even have created two more accounts trying to get it to work. I've reached out to Support at this point.

*Sigh*. This seems to be an issue with Chrome, at least for me. I tried IE and got right into Mogstation no problem.

Ok been like 4 years since I actually made my SE account so I decided to go through the Registation System again on my side Email. I have gone all the way to the Registry of the CD Key (which I am not going to Buy the game again, so I can't go pass that) and see what is the Main problem people are getting at.

If anyone could say Step by Step what you are doing to the point of the problem. I can see how I can help.

Frew notes:

If you have a Square Enix account their is no point making a Registering a New Account using the same Email. All SE Accounts are multi platformed for SE games, (my account is connected to FF14, FF11, FF8 and FF7)

Just having an SE Account won't allow you through the FFXIV Launcher into the game. You must Register a Service Account via Mogstation, using the CD Key that comes with buying the game. If you don't know where that CD Key is (atleast for Steam Version), click on the name in your library and on the Right side, you should be able to see the CD Key button (should be above the DLC button), and you just copy to clipboard and paste it in.

You do not need to worry about the One time Password, that is a Optional Item that you pruchase for the game. You do not need to worry about it.

Yeah i know right. I returned to this game after a while. Run into the same sort of issues. The problem is that there is 10 websites to login/register with your game account credentials. The game itself website, the community site, the site to buy or try the game, a site from squarenix, mogstation, a site for steam users, then there is region/domain variations of them all. And the list goes on..

And i played at day 1 as well, creating a account was like impossible back then. And to my supprise its still rubbish..

It shouldnt be this hard or complicated to create 1 platform or a compleet portal website.
