wich region should i make an ffxiv acc in?

so i want to buy the game and pay mothnly sub threw steam wallet , now my steam wallet uses dollar but i want to play in eu and i got confused .... help me

if you're from NA, then you only get NA version.

You can play on any server (JP, NA or EU) no matter which region your FFXIV account is in.

It should actually tell you on the Store page which account region you need, in the orange Notice rectangle:

The PAL version of FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™ will require a European & other Regions Square Enix Account to play.

if on store page it says NA, then you are buying the NA version of ffxiv. you can only buy the version from the location you are from. you will get the dlc for that version such as NA version, you can't play on a different continent's realm without being from there and having your physical location be there.

Not true at all. You can play on any server no matter what account region you have (only exceptions are Korean and Chinese versions/servers).

But that doesnt stop you from choosing datacenter in-game different from your key region. Restrictions apply only on key redeeming.
