A note for people Using 3rd Party tools such as Parsers

first off if your gonna use those programs you should have the common since not to talk about using them in the game servers as they are "Officially" against the TOS if you use them anyway them remember the first rule of fight club "You don't talk about Fight club"

If you use 3rd party tools don't be an idiot and Say your using them becuase your asking to be reported and banned becuase you admited to their use, also don't be an idiot and use them as a way to tell another player they suck as that points to admiting your using a parser.

Some People find their enjoyment in perfection of their class and the game doesn't give them the tools to achieve that. For that reason the Parsing Plugin for ACT, your parser, and FFLogs exist.

I know my point is if your going to use them don't go and show it in game show out on discord, curse, teamspeak, some fan forum, anywhere that is not directly controlled by square enix

Official policy is that, while it's against TOS and bannable, they have something of a Don't Ask Don't Tell policy; they don't care if you're doing it for self-improvement, but you make it a problem for other people, the banhammer will come down on you.

it would already be fine if Stone Sky Sea would be mandatory. The people who can play their class at a basic level just kill it in their 3 Minutes of Spare Time and the rest get's locked out.

I partially agree with Shirayuki and I understand why some people sometimes get upset and tell about parse to others, it may get frustrating when you people do like 50% of the DPS their gear allows them to. Yes, its public lobbies and no, people aren't obligated to try/do their best if they don't want/feel like it, but why waste others time joining a party where people are asking for that? You're technically asking for a bad reaction from them. Its what I always tell my friends, doesn't matter how much someone can be irritating, do not answer them back, or be rude to people before kicking them, especially if its to talk about their DPS.

That's just dodging the point. Other people being subpar isn't the issue; the problem is using third-party programs (Which anyone with half a brain and more than two minutes expeirence in online gaming would know to keep their mouth shut about) to give other people ♥♥♥♥ for what is perceive as "inferior." It's meant to be used for self-improvement. If you don't think someone else is good enough, don't invite them to your party.

I mentioned Zurvan Ex because thats one of the few situations where I've seen people get frustrated about it and treat others as inferiors, you don't really select the ones who are joining you if you PF on all data center. Which is also why I mentioned no one is obligated to do their best or know full rotation.
