Tonberry is Always open on non prime hours for your region. During prime time it is locked. Just get up early or stay up late and you will easily get in.

There aren't any. Servers are either in Japan, Canada or lost in the EU.

If you mean which servers most of the aussies are in... it's the Tokyo datacenter that's closest.

Tonberry & Masamune [semi-official English servers with Ton being the non-Legacy server, Masamune being the Legacy server. Expect pings around 90-150ms from say, Sydney or so, depending on your ISP. Plus time of day and apparently what phase of the tide, moon cycle and the humidity level in my sock drawer.

Ton is at least half "english-speaking", Masa is around a tenth. Alternatively, if you can tolerate a slightly higher ping [200-300ms... or more], you can try Balmung and Sargatanas in the Montreal Datacenter.
