What happens when your subscription runs out?

What happens when your subscription runs out, can I not play the game at all or am I able to play with the limitations of the trail version (limited communication and a level cap of 35)?

If you have already been subscribing then you wont be able to play anymore. It wont revert to trial version at all.

If your subscription lapses, it simply won't let you log into the game.

It will be on Standby till you Resub.
You can still login on the Lodestone but just not ingame.

also keep in mind you still will maintain all character/s and stuff but anything linked to a subscription is as said on standby till you re-sub including any extra retainers if you subscribed to have those, they too will be on hold and act as seperate subscriptions so once you resub to game in order to use any extra retainers again and gain access to stuff on them you need to re-sub those as well.

Oh and whenever they do a Free login Weekend, you can login your Standby Account but only till the Duration of the Free login Weekend. (Although I think there is a Time Limit somewhere)
