Cheat or mod for morale?

Morale falls way too fast especially how long sailing takes. Is there a cheat or mod that slows this? Even the items you can buy slow the decline way too little.

In lower difficulty you need 2 or 3 thousand gold for each sailor in your crew, with this amount of gold per head they will have neutral/good morale forever.

The game is not exactly hard to begin with so cheats like that tend to ruin the game and make it over in five minutes. You 'ave been warned.

You can adjust this with the Trainer (along with other basic fixes like this). Check out the dancing thread on page 1, someone posted a link, or go to the HookedonPirates forums or Nexus Mods for the game (lots of other mods there too)

I just made a guide to using a trainer since I couldn't find any guides that really helped me get the trainer working on the steam version of the game for windows 10:
