Many of the criticisms he levelled at the game were the same as mine when I had to write my review, but ultimately despite the clear flaws I enjoyed it much more than Joe, it seems. I can see where he's coming from, though.

Dude's been laughed out of the industry more than anyone else. See his interviews with Felicia Day, Geoff Keighley etc.

Say what you will about Angry Joe, the guy really does a very in depth job of his reviews. I dont agree with all his reviews, but for free, the guy does a great job.

At the end of the day a review is nothing more than one individual's opinion....Cliche is almost becoming a hispter term of sorts....I don't know if Joe watches horror movies but have fun pulling out movies that don't play to horror cliches....for me those things made this game work. *shrugs*

If he had done it few years back he would have seen it for the story and other aspects, now I feel he wants more action and expects it from every game he plays, be it horror, FPS or any other genre. Not really happy with his review tbh.
