"Finishing touch" achievement

I have played this game probably too many times, and just know paying attention to the achievements, I found out that you get "Finishing touch" only by finishing the game, no matter what ending you get and none of the times I have finished was counted, achievement is still locked.

This is really weird. Have you always played to the moment when the game ends and you get back to the main screen automatically? I know it might sound like a dumb question, however people tend to leave the game by hitting ESC and quitting to Main Screen before the game really ends.

I was not sure if i ever played the titles, but just played and finished the game and left it to run alone to the main menu and nothing, the achievement is still locked.

I'm also having this problem. I finished the game and "Finishing touch" isn't unlock, only "Make up your mind" is.
I even waited for the end credit to complete and went back to main menu. No archivement.

I contacted the developers directly since they didn't answered satisfactorily in this discussion, the answer was basically useless too, so I assumed I would just not have that achievement, but today I unlocked all the endings and the achievement popped. So if you're having the same problem, and you really really want it, all you have to do is finishing the three different endings.

I'm confused as to whether the game ended or not. Like the Dev said I ended up pressing escape and going back to the menu. I finished the painting and there was some sort of ending but then I was just walking around the "small" house with the kitchen,basement etc.. There was a book with the devs names in which I read an got an achievement for. Is this an ending or was I meant to do something else for the game to end? I was never thrown back to the main menu automatically though. I couldn't see that there was anything left to do.

you have to go back to the studio room and finish the painting, the key is where it was at the start of the game

Thanks. I did that and got the achievement. Odd ending. They should have just ended it after chapter 6 and the portrait reveal, although I see why they did it.
