you have to beat him and then u can reset i think

The Only way to completely reset the game is by doing a true reset, which you can only do after completing the Genocide or Pacifist enemy. In pacifist you must not hurt anyone, Date Papyrus Undyne and Alphys if you complete it without dating one of them Flowey will tell you were you messed up at and what you need to do. In Genocide route you will actively hunt down all the encounters. You can easily do this by "Frisk Dancing" in which you go to the top of the map and hold down the up and down arrow keys at the same time. You will know if you are on Genocide route if a save point says a number and then left (for example 13 left) You will have to kill that many more for that area then the save will say Determination and nothing else and encounters will say but no one came. I personally recommend doing Pacifist if you are a begginer because doing Genocide will get you the two hardest fights in the whole game, Sans and Undyne The Undying which are both incredibly difficult your first time fighting them

if you are talking about making a full on new save game go in to your steam file and erase the save that way

True Reset after obtaining The End or go delete your save files from C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\UNDERTALE

I thought it was a secret ending and didnt know about the 3 endings
