Frisk vs. The Knight?
hey so I've seen a lot of people pitting video game characters against each other, and I thought this would be an interesting mashup (If we just pretended they were roughly the same size rather what whatever is actually canon) since they both kind of run on soul. Feel free to give a regular answer with a short reason, a five page essay, a fanfiction battle, animated short, just whatever you feel like. Also posting this in Hollow Knight discussions to compare responses. :hollowknight::tobdog:

it depends on what point in the game the knight is pulled from. if it is at the end of the god seeker ending, the knight wins with absolutely zero difficultly, i don care what anyone thinks. Frisk is not winning against THE GOD OF GODS, the SHADE LORD. so lets pull the knight from the dream no more ending. this leaves him with all upgraded abilities, and access to a rampage, void power mode, (if anyone thinks that the siblings will help, frisk isn't the radiance so the siblings wont care.) If the battle is on a 3D battle field, this means the knight can dash to the side as well, which gives the knight access to a whole new field of combos and strategies. Also while in void form, the knight has infinite energy, as long as the abyss still has void to draw power from. this means he can just spam all spells. ( You can argue with me on this, however, the spells names are: SHADE soul, descending DARK, and ABYSS shriek, sure you still use soul, however that is probably just game play stuff.) also while in shade rampage mode, all attacks just phase through him, like he is in a permanent shade cloak dash. The charms he has equipped also change some stuff, so lets just say he has: shaman stone, unbreakable strength, quick slash, dream wielder and... idk sprint master or something. The knight also has a double jump, (monarch wings) which gives him an aerial advantage. ultimately i think the knight would win, with medium to very high difficulty. Now if we are taking the knight from the hollow knight, or sealed siblings ending, he doesn't have void rampage access, so i think with these endings the knight either loses or wins with ultra high difficulty. So yeah I think the Knight is overall more powerful than frisk, and with god seeker ending, he also has WAY more power and potential. this fight is also assuming both characters are on a 3D space where they can both attack normally, since undertale has a weird battle mechanic
frisk crushes the bug, then hornet finds me and calls me a good boy, and well, the rest of what me and hornet will do would be 18+

To be fair, I did request fanfiction. I should've expected someone who was waiting for Silksong.

this is probably the worst possible way to be introduced to a new character

Depending on how far in Hollow Knight, the Knight is cooked. Frisk canonically comes back from the dead every time you die and survived erasure because of DETERMINATION, so the Knight might lose in that area.

its a wild and a half guess but i think frisk would win, i am going to heavy assume that if there isnt some plot twist antagonist involved (knights motive irrelevant)

then im willing to argue that frisk would win, while theres nothing to really go off its either the darkners are much more powerful (and so are the heros) or the latter lore wise despite the difference in values it would equivlent to the same undertale stats

i believe the latter as the undertale ui and kris has 20 hp like frisk and so far its reasonable to assume your real world stats has an impact on your darkner counterpart (kris susie and noell have all different stats)

and frisk (or the player) is way more capable in a 1v3 fight than any of the current cast within deltarune

and we have to assume that the knight is going to be detectable (most likely even if not the real antagonist) so while hard e has to be on a beatable level of difficulty (assuming we fight them anyways)

so the most likely case is either frisk is stronger or on par with the knight and while its an assumption the knight isnt known to fight any darkners as of yet and so its possible they have little to no fighting experience giving frisk an edge

Not to mention we are comparing LVL 1 Frisk against the knight (because everyone sees frisk as the goodie two shoes) but if we assume that we got a genocide route frisk they would be LV19 making them way stronger

so yea to me frisk appears to be more powerful and capable than deltarune characters and the knight has to be within reasonable strength which would be weaker than or just as strong as undertales monsters

Nice arguments! If anyone wants to check out the side of the discussion on the hollow knight side, titled "The Knight vs. Frisk", feel free to! There are some interesting comments there about the functionality of spells and the nature of immortality.
