Lag Issues

So i got the game a few days ago but its barely playable for me. it lags and stutters so much its annoying to do anything cause i freeze for half a second every step, does anyone know how to fix this???

Been having a similar if not the same problem, it freezes after a or a few frames

right click undertale in your library > properties(?) > betas

i tried using that win 10 lag fix beta branch, im still lagging
i do have windows 11 so what did i expect? are there any other methods how to fix this?
