There's two possibilities

1 Frisk was just Adventuring to mount Ebott (Which I think is suspicious because 6 people have gone Missing on mount Ebott)

2 Frisk Could have been suicidal like Chara since it's suggested when you talk to Asriel at the end of true pacifist
