The length of an RPG doesn't necessarily mean that much.
And more like 8 hours. If you never restart to try something else.
Is the game good? ♥♥♥♥ yes it is, although it's not your classical RPG, so if you're used to the old "kill monsters get level" gimmick, your first minutes into the game will be dull and confusing, but if you manage to keep playing, you'll find a refreshing and cute game... well, cute and creepy at some parts. Oh, the music is awesome, too!
Finally, some people are already whining that this game is the new Homestuck and that it sucks just because. Because, you know, no fun is allowed, according to some people. I say download the demo first so you can decide for yourself if you want to give the full game a chance.
There are 2-3 endings, each taking 4 hours if you don't go chasing after secrets so that's 12 hours of content.
That's under a dollar an hour.
Movie tickets cost more per hour than this game.
And this game is a far better experience than most movies you will see.
Also the cards are worth a suprising amount of money atm, so it's probably cheaper than you think.
I do not regret paying full price.
Although the high price of the Steam cards makes it so it was basically 25% off.
STILL.
I'd pay full price again.
It's only a few hours long per playthrough, but it's an absolutely amazing few hours.
I can definitely understand the mentality of not wanting to spend money on such a short experience though.
♥♥♥♥ I was wrong to wait to buy it.
It's genuinely phenomenal and will require multiple playthroughs anyway.
Think of it as 2 games. If you choose to go either way the story and how the game plays out changes drastically.
It even puts Mass Effect 3's Red,Blue or Green ending to shame.
Edit: Also got 10 hours on record and only halfway through the Genocide run.
