But yes game can bring positive emotions
Although actually Steam officially supports such activities to avoid excessive forum cluttering with repeat questions when the revivals are actually relevant. If seeing dead topics revived disturbs you, there's always the unsub from discussion button.
But yeah. Undertale does have a few sad moments, immensely sad to be honest. But as sad as certain moments are, even most of the sad moments left me feeling hopeful. And... I don't think that was an accident.
Actually, it is precisely BECAUSE of the sad moments that I am able to think back, smile, and reminisce fondly upon all the joy Undertale has brought to me, even 9 months after the fact. Without such moments, I feel the entire experience, even the far more abundant happy moments, would have faded from my mind mere weeks (two months, tops) after finishing the game.
Yeah, I was depressed I wasted my time on this trash instead of playing a good game.
If you're worried, I suggest you play the Demo (only available on the official Undertale site for some reason). But then again you already own the game.
