So it sounds like controller support isn't great?
Anybody having any success with a wired Xbox One controller? I see a lot of people having issues with 360 controllers.

I'm not sure how to get a controller working, myself. It's plugged in, but the game doesn't seem to recognize it. That said, the game works pretty great on keyboard if you're desperate to get into it.

Naw, not desperate. I'll wait until they fix controller issues or just pass for the time being. Have too many mouse/keyboard games and precious little time sitting at my computer these days. Hopefully they can improve it.

I was able to use a controller just fine. At the start of the game there's a "Controller Setup" option (it might be called something different, but the name was clear). Went in there, set-up which keys I wanted to bind, and was able to play just fine. The only keys you can't bind are F4 for fullscreen (only need to hit it once at start-up though) and holding Esc to close the game. Neither are really a big deal.

I played the game, beginning to end, just fine with a controller.

Works fine with wireless 360 but I had to reduce both analog sensitivities to 0 or else it would keep going into a direction when releasing the stick.

I used a Gamecube controller. I should work for any controller at most, not sure about the Xbone controller, but X360, ps3.

You can get adaptors on Amazon for them.

If all else fails, try Joy2Key.

I used a Super Famicom controller and it gave me no troubles.

I have a third party xbox 360 one. plugged it in and it worked right off the bat. So I have no idea what dictates which ones work or dont

Heck, my Dualshock 3 worked great for it as well.

I actually played it with my wired 360 controller, though I did have to adjust the analog stick sensitivity (and kudos to the dev for the sensitivity sensitivity joke).

Not sure if it's related but when I'm using my xbone gamepad the game crashes after playing for a bit. Anyone else got the same problem?

Eh, I don't like fiddling with Joy2Key. Shouldn't have to, really.

It is encouraging to see some people having success with a wired Xbox One controller, though.
