Huh? One of three frogs has disappeared

I'm playing on true reset playthrough(too awesome game to not play it again) and playing pacifist again, but one of three frogs has disappeared for some reason(the one that tells about skipping with x) ._.; Is that a bug or something?

The same thing happened to me but I thought it was because I was doing a genocide run

I deleted my saves from my first True Pacifist run from appdata and the frog disappeared for me too. I'm kinda worried this is a sign of future problems.

I think if you are already skipping with x he doesn't need to appear to tell you about it. I got the True ending and before the credits walked back to that room and he was there when he wasn't at the start of the game.

Nope, he wasn't there on my very first, original playthrough either and that was a True Pacifist one. He seems to only appear if you haven't yet figured out that you can use X to skip text.

Ohhh, good. Phew. I was really going to give the game props if it could even recognize when I messed with the files manually.

No it does return in the epilogue. I played the demo so was just trying to skip ahead to snowdin and only got two frogs in the room at first, came back for the epilogue and boom, three frogs.
