Do a pure pacifist run and get Sans judgement dialogue.
Then once you get it reload your save and do it 3 more times. He should give you a key to his room.
By pure pacifist, do you mean on the second playthrough?
He didn't show up in the hallway on my second run, when I got the best ending.
I didn't realize he only shows up in that hallway the once a game, up until a true reset.
2. Save before the judgement with Sans
3. Talk to sans
4. Quit game
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for like 3 times and hate/love Sans
6. He will provide you the key to his room
